Bahraini Crown Prince meets Gulf foreign ministers

MANAMA — Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan along with foreign ministers and representatives of GCC member states. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 167th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council in Manama on Wednesday. During the reception, they reviewed the fraternal and historical relations among GCC states, ways to strengthen joint Gulf action, and the council's role in achieving coordination, integration, and interconnection among member states across various fields. The ministerial council meeting is chaired by Bahrain's minister of foreign affairs in his capacity as president of the current session of the council.
