Ausar Thompson and Victor Wembanyama have been named the NBA's Defensive Players of the Month for March. Thompson led the NBA in steals at 2.5 per game and deflections at 4.8 per game. Thompson won Defensive Player of the Month in January. Wembanyama led the NBA in blocks at 3.7 per game and was ranked second in contested shots at 11.6. Wembanyama previously won the award this season in January and February.
