At least four people have been killed and 20 others wounded in a shooting at a secondary school in the southern province of Kahramanmaras, Turkiye. Al Jazeera's Sinem Koseoglu reported from Istanbul that the assailant, a 13-year-old student, entered the school building with five pistols and seven magazines — presumed to have been obtained through his retired police officer father — and began randomly firing in two classrooms, killing a teacher and three others.
The incident marks the second school shooting in two days, following a similar attack on Tuesday in Sanliurfa's Siverek district where an 18-year-old former student opened fire with a shotgun, wounding 16 people before killing himself.
