Animation from NASA shows the projected journey of the Artemis II crew's expected splashdown in the Pacific Ocean on April 10. Four Artemis II astronauts, returning from the world's first crewed lunar mission in over half a century, hurtled back toward Earth aboard their gumdrop-shaped Orion spacecraft, headed for a splashdown off the coast of Southern California.
