Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has faced questions on whether the government’s upcoming budget could push up inflation. “You’re asking a question about a hypothetical which hasn’t been announced,” Mr Albanese said. “What I can guarantee is that certainly we’re very conscious about putting that downward pressure.”
