AFL under fire for being unable to support itself despite corporate sponsorships

Victorian Libertarian Leader David Limbrick highlights the hypocrisy of the AFL making money out of corporate sponsorships and other means but being unable to “stand on their own two feet”. “Someone’s got to ask these questions … it is the biggest game in town,” Mr Limbrick told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “If they’re making money out of corporate sponsorships, advertising, broadcasting fees, merch, memberships and all these other things, and they still can’t stand on their own two feet, we’ve got to ask questions, I think.”
