For years, scientists have documented Southern California waters — especially around Santa Monica Bay — as a nursery habitat for juvenile great white sharks. But amazing new drone footage from The Malibu Artist suggests something broader is happening! Large, fully grown sharks are also moving through these same nearshore waters, using them less as a hangout and more as a coastal transit route.
