Starmer’s hail mary “reset” speech this morning was around 65 reheated from the Labour conference address he delivered eight months ago in Liverpool. A line-by-line analysis shows the same family anecdotes (albeit without the signature “toolmaker” refrain) , the same attack lines on Farage, the same education policy, and large chunks of the same phrasing.
